Blogs: Links to the past, present, and future

An internet based forum, a webpage or an entire website, is considered a blog when certain things are present. The blogger posts his or her own comments, thoughts, opinions, or views on a variety of subjects onto a webpage. The blogger will likely lean toward a certain topic (politics, entertainment, and etc.) throughout his or her blog. After the blogger’s initial post, readers and fellow bloggers have the ability to continue the conversation by commenting to the post. This continuous feedback among the blogger and his or her readers creates limitless opportunities for anyone to share their mind on a particular subject. When this happens it is called a blog.

Last week, I was not a blogger and never knew what it really meant to be a one. But today, I am a blogger. I can feel the energy and excitement that blogging has. Its exciting to know that what I am writing right now will be seen by other people in my college, community, and the entire world! Furthermore, sharing my views and opinions on certain subjects or events will be my most exciting and favorite thing about blogging.

Blogging may be exciting, but it is also challenging. The most challenging thing about blogging, in my opinion, is being open to comments from other people who don’t share my views. It is easy to share my opinions with friends, but much less so when others can comment against my opinions. Despite this fact, it will be an enjoyable challenge to undertake.
